Postby esthrmend » Thu Jan 21, 2010 2:54 am

Okay I know it sound s crazy but my stitches are only sewing upside down. What am I doing wrong. The zig-Zag is on the bottom of the fabric and what should be hidden the bottom is sewing on the top. How can I make the stiches sew the right way? Any help would be awesome I am new at sewing but my machine is in almost new condition and should not be doing this.

Thanks in advance.

Sounds like the tension is off. Make sure first that the bobbin thread is correctly threaded under the tension spring on the side of the bobbin case.

If that is OK, try slackening off the top thread tension. For zigzags and other stitch patterns it may need to be slightly looser than it does for straight stitching.
