Brother CE-5000PRW, need help with the bobbin!

Postby adamoth » Wed Nov 17, 2010 6:18 pm

I could use a little help with the bobbin on this model. It loads differently (on top vs the side) than the machines I have used in the past, and I am having trouble figuring out how to thread it. Is there anyone who could give me some tips? Otherwise, I am a go with restarting my sewing hobby, I just can't seem to figure this seemingly simple thing out! Thanks!

I also have a top loading bobbin,,
1.place the bobbin in the bobbin holder with the thread running counter-clockwise
2.guide the thread into the slot on the front side of the bobbin holder
draw the thread to the left sliding it between the tension spring blade
3.continue to draw the thread lightly through the tension blades until slips into the slot
4.draw the thread to the back, the bobbin should turn counter clock-wise when pulling the thread
5.pull out about 4 inches of thread & attach the hook cover
